Bal Night
For intermediate/advanced balboa students. Build repertoire and add styling to your Balboa and Bal-swing, a fun and elegant California swing dance. After-class dance party from 9-11pm is FREE to students in this class.
In many ways, the art of dance is as simple as knowing how to do one thing five different ways. For this series, Kate and Bobby will concentrate on the many different ways of doing EVERYTHING in Lindy Hop. Different ways of holding hands, different ways of doing swing outs, different ways of doing tuck turns, different ways of anchoring, kicking, swiveling, leaning, making lines, and even falling. Plenty of fun for followers and leaders alike—if you only know five moves, we'll make you look like you have a hundred and five.
